Blue states and blue cities in red states, thank you very much.

What are the politically motivated reasons by the way? I know some people initially did not trust an early release of the vaccines because of Trump and crew trying to grandstand. But is that it or something else?

Hence @castor_troy’s caveat about emergency use authorization, which obviously extends to any unknown long term effects of the vaccines.

Isn’t Houston Blue?

Professional Nurses? RNs think covid is Fake News?
What??? That seems impossible.
I know this is Texas, but still.

The city itself is Blue.
The inner burbs are Purple, the outer burbs are Red.

There have been a couple of anaphylaxis, i.e. “I can’t breathe” reactions.
Not enough to justify the reaction in this article.

The Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) said there had been two reports of anaphylaxis and one report of a possible allergic reaction since rollout began.

“Any person with a history of anaphylaxis to a vaccine, medicine or food should not receive the Pfizer BioNTech vaccine,” MHRA Chief Executive June Raine said in a statement.

Do you realize how long it takes to get to another state by car if you live in San Antonio? It is at least a six hour drive to Louisiana. And who wants to go to Louisiana? Oklahoma, Arkansas? Nuts to that. And heading for New Mexico, if you drive, you might as well relocate to make the effort worth it.

If those nurses don’t want to get the vaccine, fine, no problem. However, if they contact Corona19, their treatment goes to the end of the line.

Just assign them bed-pan, catheter, and other duties that don’t expose them to patients with COVID, and when all those roles are filled then tell them to find another place of work, since they obviously don’t take their jobs seriously.

Also, a great many of them have a morbid fear of pants belts.

Exactly! This Dr cites “political reasons,” but the range of those reasons runs from “I read it implants a microchip to report your whereabouts to Bill Gates” to “I don’t trust anything the Trump administration was involved in to be what they say it is since they have lied about everything and politicized everything to do with COVID”.

I’m in KC. Blue city, Reddest state. Surrounded by Kansas, Kentucky, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Iowa, Nebraska. Illinois is our only blue neighbor, and that only because of Chicago.

Now that we’ve added a third in Alaska, potentially a case with no known allergies, that’s a little more concerning. The vaccine hasn’t hit that many people yet.

As much as people want to avoid vaccinations because they don’t want to catch the autism are just morons, I don’t get the whole “I’m not getting vaccinated to own the libs” approach. Will not getting vaccinated suddenly make guys like me sick and die? Meanwhile, people on Parler are wondering why most people with Covid are Republicans.

It does, but Bill Gates is just a courier working on behalf of SOROS Group International™, he’s not collecting the tracking data for himself.

Because it’s a fake vaccine,

@justruss I’m sure the Houston doctor and his sane fellows would appreciate the 800 mi trip(s) to and from Las Cruces, NM to get their dose(s).

Yes.

Perhaps the writer queried and got no further information — but in that case it might have been nice to record at least this fact.
