Two lawmakers in the House of Representatives, Reps. Ben McAdams (D-UT) and Mario Diaz-Balart (R-FL), announced on Wednesday that they have COVID-19. They are the first members of Congress to come down with the coronavirus.

This sounds like he’s getting ready to exit the race.
You have to wonder who they’ve been with in meetings. I hope Pelosi is ok. But I could name others about whom I am not so solicitous. And did the Utah idiot fly commercial when he decided to fly home to be sick? If so, everyone on the plane should go after him for intentional infliction of emotional distress and for battery if they get the virus.
How will we ever convince Congress critters that this is a serious threat? They need to quit buying off on Wrong Way Donnie and act like the rest of the developed world PDQ.
I read a few of the comments to this tweet and one reminded me how blinkered people can be: one commenter basically implied that Biden is against universal healthcare because he’s not for M4A.
I am amazed how many people in the US think that universal healthcare means an NHS-style centralized government system. We have universal healthcare in Germany but it more closely resembles Obamacare than the NHS.

Why are these people and their “lifestyle choices” being held against Our Favorite President? He already said he liked the numbers where they were. Never-Trumpers and Deep State Operatives knew what they were getting into. Unfair To Trump!
As of this a.m. the US total cases of COVID are above both France and S. Korea. Until today, that was not the case.

And before his positive test, did Trump Lockstep Republican Lincoln Diaz Balart open his mouth when Dear Leader was calling it a hoax and comparing it to the Flu? Inquiring minds want to know.

This isn’t the super-flu of science fiction that will kill us all, but this entire ordeal is demonstrating that our reality is actually much dumber than any fictional world anyone could ever conjure up in their imagination.

Members of Congress are going to get increasingly more frightened as this progresses. It will be interesting to see how they react when they know that their own lives may now be impacted by their decisions.
According to Rachel Maddow, 7 states ( TX, TN, OK, MO, MS, ID, WY) are NOT taking Covid-19 seriously and had been listening to the “Irresponsible” Tune of Trump…thus NOT helping in flattening the curve AND messing with “But my numbers…I like my numbers”!
