Tulsa Mayor G.T. Bynum announced that local officials would not block the Trump campaign from holding its rally at the BOK Center on Saturday, despite his own anxieties and increasing criticism and fear that the rally could exacerbate the city’s already mounting roster of confirmed COVID-19 cases.
“I can tell you is it’s all a work in progress,” Pence said.
“You know how we are, we just make it up as we go along and hope something works eventually,” he added.

You know the mayor is GOP but a really decent human being. He is the one who has ordered the disinterment of the mass graves from the Tulsa Massacre to try to identify the dead and to count them because there isn’t a real number. I saw him interviewed on 60 Minutes and I couldn’t believe he was GOP. He doesn’t act or sound like it.
He ought to take a stand here.

I saw him interviewed on 60 Minutes on Sunday and he doesn’t sound like a Repug at all. He’s a decent guy.
