Whether a business can sell b2b subscriptions of the presidents feed is a strawman argument. The underlying principal, that individuals should divest of their companies to avoid the appearance of impropriety and not personally profit from public office, has been wholly abandoned by the GOP.
The only comforting thought I have in this is that the hedgefund companies want API access to connect agentic AI for automated trading. Inevitably, these systems will react to some crazy thing he says and lose ungodly amounts of money.

My first thought when I heard about this was “market manipulation on demand” can’t be far behind. Whether he could consistently pull it off to turn it into a subscriber service is a whole other matter.
In a perfect world he would get a bunch of avaricious assholes to buy into to his scheme and then that ETTD magic would kick in and leave them all penniless.

Truth Social is a scam. It burns through hundreds of millions of dollars annually while taking in a few million dollars. But now the folks who have given Trump all of this money are getting their paychecks, insider trading.

This news does not make me outraged - rather I expect nothing less; but it may outrage low information (potential) voters. It is easy to explain and to understand: Trump is selling inside information. Corruption anyone can understand. So broadcast that fact it every time he posts inside info. Make it a Jujitsu artform: turn Presidential grift into a repeating electoral gift.
Then investigate next Congress!

There’s plenty of time left—wait til it gets really silly. Paying for early insider tips goes right along with the gold coin and testosterone tests for “warriors.” Think of the most nuts thing you can and it will look tame in 2 years.

A leading Mitch McConnell theory is that he is dead or comatose, a fact deliberately hidden by the benefactors of his Senate position, including his staff and donors who expect certain votes and actions on the appropriations committee. Specifically, they want the coverup to go on at least until August 3, when Andy Beshear can no longer call a special election. For the more conspiratorial, however, there is the idea that long-incumbent politicians are being eliminated either by a foreign power such as Russia or a cabal within the US government. Murders of the elderly are particularly challenging due to their frailty and the natural cause assumption that dogs everybody over the hill. During the purges of the 1930s, Stalin secured his power by eliminating generals, security chiefs and other public officials, but information on their deaths was withheld for months or years, and their records were scrubbed. While this is a far-fetched B-movie script plot point, it highlights the danger of ongoing Mitch Limbo. Trump needs maximum insecurity and uncertainty to justify regularizing elections to guarantee desired outcomes. He doesn’t need functional electoral democracy. I think everybody needs to see Mitch at least on live video discussing his future plans or this gets more worrisome.
