Tina Peters, the clerk of Mesa County, Colorado who’s long been suspected of involvement in a leak of county election machine data last year, was arrested Tuesday morning.
Can we call this action the Peters Principle?

I don’t know for certain, but she has a real “sovereign citizen” vibe going here. Repeatedly flouting the same laws over and over because she’s apparently convinced that she has some special immunity because she alone knows the correct interpretation of the legal text.
