It’s interesting they tried this only in CA, where the 20.000 is insignificant to the outcome. We have all voted and hoping for an even bigger blue wave here.

This whole “non-citizen voting” thing makes no sense.
If I were “illegal”, the last thing I would do is try and register to vote, or deal with any Government entity.
I registered shortly after my 18th birthday 48 years ago. It’s in January so I wanted to be sure I could vote in the primary. Had punch cards similar to the infamous “hanging chads” back then.
Now I do mail and the county BoE drop box. They send back a nice thank you postcard.
I do miss going to the polls and seeing that long list of signatures in the big book.
NJ does the governor/legislature in odd years so there’s always an incentive.

In the Prince, Machiavelli warns “He who is the cause of another becoming powerful is ruined.” That pretty well sums up the relationship of Putin and Trump. Russia’s economy is about 5% of the size of the US economy, but Putin is still calling the shots (see Elbridge Colby). I don’t blame Zelensky one iota for seeing the situation clearly. America has to find its way home, the GOP has to deal with its Putinists, and kill-switch abuses have to end.

And there is huge difference between non citizens registering and non-citizens voting.
I can imagine a few non citizens being registered. When the non citizen went to the DMV to get a Drivers License. And a voter registration box on the form was checked, either by the clerk or the non citizen.
But do they vote? NO.

Trump and his crooked lawyer Todd Blanche will abuse the legal process to steal the election. I doubt they will do another violent insurrection. Why? Because Trump will say he wasn’t on the ballot and those who lost were weak losers. He may also say it was rigged. Trump’s various lies are never consistent.
