President Trump was asked this afternoon at Joint Base Andrews if he will respect next week’s midterms results, “whatever happens.”
“I will if they’re honest elections, yup,” he said before walking away from reporters to board a flight to go campaign for a candidate in Texas who secretly — [or perhaps not so secretly](https://www.texasmonthly.com/news-politics/ken-paxton-audio-leaks/) — doesn’t want his help.
I think Dear Leader gets his rocks off by keeping everyone on tenterhooks.
“If it’s not [an honest election], you have to fight for the right of the country.”
Hmm. Accidentally honest? Cause he sure ain’t gonna fight for the left of the country. Or the center.
No one has asked him his definition of the word honest. In his brain it is probably the same as truth….his truth which we all know are lies.
I don’t think he has a definition. I think they are just sounds to him that other people react to.
Just for an accurate record, Trump said the same thing before the 2016 election. He always claims he’ll accept the result .. if it’s “fair.” ![]()
His lies were just as sinister then as they are today, and more corrosive to our democracy than ever.
Trump’s been striking out and shooting blanks for decades, contributing to his eternal whining. Melania only sticks by him, kinda sorta, for the payoff and the intel.
is Benedict Donald’s Jedi power, he really has no other that I can see. I mean he himself actually accomplishes very little, it is almost entirely the work of his fellow travelers that brings in the gravy while, like the slieight-of-hand artist, he misdirects.
You can’t tenterhook the willing. Case in point, his latest throw away comment is now a topic of discussion here.
Trump has used this line before to give himself cover to challenge the results of elections he doesn’t win.
It’s also a better topic for him, instead of explaining what’s he doing to fix the economy, or any of the other dozen critical national needs Republicans keep ignoring so they can pass billionaire tax cuts.

“JKT is a young Alaskan with a view and a perspective that I think Alaska needs right now — a freshness of energy, a commonsense guy who has a known ability to be working together,” she said in an interview on NBC affiliate KTUU of Anchorage.
Murkowski said she believes the three Republican gubernatorial candidates on the ballot in Alaska, which has ranked choice voting, are too partisan.
Should win the GOP vote easily
Political candidate charged with child molestation days before election
ATLANTA (ANF/Gray News) — A Republican candidate in Georgia running for the state House of Representatives has been arrested on charges of public indecency.
According to Cobb County authorities, Andre Stafford is accused of public indecency and child molestation, a felony charge, in connection with an Oct. 15 incident in Smyrna.
The arrest warrant said a girl walking to her bus stop was approached by a gray 2024 Kia Forte whose driver exposed himself. Police said Flock surveillance cameras tracked the car to Stafford, whom the victim identified in a photo lineup.
Stafford is running for house district 42 in Smyrna, a seat held by Democrat Gabriel Sanchez.
Stafford has been photographed with a number of prominent GOP officials, including state Sen. Greg Dolezal, who is running for lieutenant governor; U.S. Rep. Barry Loundermilk; and state Rep. Houston Gaines, who is running for a congressional seat now held by U.S. Rep. Mike Collins, seeking to unseat U.S. Sen. Jon Ossoff in Georgia’s nationally watched 2026 midterms.
