Trump Whines That He’s ‘Treated Worse’ Than Assassinated Abraham Lincoln

he demands credit for closing off China …but it was so half assed that it did not really “close” and did not even filter well.
then he dragged his feet & ultimately screwed up the re-entry from Europe … turned it into the FUBAR OF ALL FUBARS
remember the ccrowds of thousands and thousands…waiting … jammed together … hot smashed together for 5-6-7 hours
a total crap-plan disaster … if you wanted to design a a virus incubator - this would be it.
lousy planning X 1000.

All three of them should have been on pedestals.

Lost opportunity.

So instead of the continuing disaster the Trump admin has made of the pandemic response, this is what we are going to talk about all day? I’m sure parscale thanks you for doing his job for him.

Feature, not bug.

“I think you’re wonderful, sir, and it’s so unfair that people criticize you just on the basis of the awful things you say and do!” Yeah, it’s pretty crazy.

On another topic (don’t worry, it’s this same topic) I doubt very much Trump could tell you one fact about Lincoln’s treatment in the media of his day vis a vis other presidents, and I even more strongly doubt Trump could tell you one fact about him in general that wasn’t either a pathetic fourth-grade-level thing or simply plain wrong.

“They always said nobody got treated worse than Lincoln. I believe I am treated worse.”

Man, I hope so.

“How long should a man’s legs be, Mr. President?”

I’m surprised Dump didn’t think he was sitting next to a statue of Captain Kirk in his command chair on the bridge of the Enterprise.

If he has to explain those things to you, you’re not worth his time. Ask KAC. She’ll tell you.

IOW, you’re completely correct.

Trump could have guaranteed his re-election by simply doing what Barack Obama would have done (together with his agency tasked for such an occasion that Trump axed).

It would have required extensive study and effort…

And the “study” and “effort” Trump expends is a different kind, and that is why we have over a million known cases of COVID and are fast-closing in on the deaths of 100,000 human beings.

The presidency (and his trio of Barr, McConnell and Roberts) is the only thing that has prevented him from facing charges from every appropriate entity tasked with such judgements.

‘Not to be obvious Mr. President…but Abe was shot dead’ said no FOX ‘newsperson’ ever. God forbid anyone should ‘correct’ the stable genius.

I frequently encounter the name R. S. Pine-Coffin in bibliographies I edit. That name is quite a mouthful — I hope it doesn’t get caught in his sarcophagus.

If he thinks he’s mistreated now, wait and see what the public does to his gravesite/memorial.

WTF was up with that? I watched (muted) part of the interview just now on Morning Foe and could not get over the horrible optics. First, they’re sitting so far apart that it’s just bizarre. I’m all about the social distancing, but they appear to be a good 15-20 feet apart. And the fancy barstools they’re sitting on make it look even weirder. Plus, the angle makes him appear very, very small. Not smaller, thinner, but small as in “Honey, I Shrunk The Kids.” But then for someone of his girth, he’s always been a very tiny little man.

In some future version of Suetonius’s The Twelve Caesars, this guy will be our Nero or Caligula.

And aside from the monumental ironies that the setting evokes, why would they stage an event designed to make a person look strong and in control by placing him on a bar-height chair that makes a person look like a child who can’t touch the floor? It’s precarious at best, and for a person with balance issues… (@pluckyinky said it better…I didn’t see your post until after I posted mine.)

No. I’m sure we’ll turn our attention to the next outrageous thing Trump says in 3…2…1…

I bet we paid the Dump Hotel $10,000 each to rent those stools for the evening. Stools on stools.
