Trump’s increasing irrationality is being completely enabled by McConnell’s unwillingness to do a damn thing that would be helpful.

Record number of new cases every day, what better time to call off the emergency?

The only emergency Fat Nixon is worried about are all the subpoenas waiting for him when he is dragged from the White House next January.

Heck, it was going to magically disappear when the weather got warm…

He will think that regardless. He is gone, has been gone and it will get worse. He cannot pull himself back, there is one direction for him. Deepening paranoia coupled with ego and avarice. This is going to be ugly to watch. As ugly and horrifying as that picture @thunderclapnewman posted a short while ago.

Same as when he won his first term: slam everything Obama and bask in the worship of his base.

Beyond that, he is incapable of planning any further out than lunch — and then it’s only to consider Mickey D or KFC.

“I just spoke with the President, and he said we are not looking at lifting the national emergency declarations,” McEnany said.

Um, are you sure that he wasn’t just joking?

Gov. Worse-Than-Useless finally admitted today that the COVID-19 virus “is spreading” in Texas. This was after more than a week of increasing cases and over 5400 new cases today alone.

But is he going to do anything about it? No, because that might make the Trumpsters angry. So, just like Donnie did with the states, he’s pushing it down the line to the counties and cities. At least he did give them more authority to limit large gatherings. Ass.

This is just Houston, per the Texas Medical Center here: https://www.tmc.edu/coronavirus-updates/daily-cumulative-covid-19-positive-cases-for-greater-houston-area/

I’m going with @bluinmaine. He’s going to go full tilt revenge mode. Just waiting to see what Ivanka, Jared, Dumb, and Dumber do, because if Donald goes down, they all go down.

Yep that is just about right.

What you missed was the executive order that moved Memorial Day to late December.

Somebody just tell him that if he ends the emergency declaration then it will be harder for his family, the GOP, and their corporate grifters to steal money from the tax payers, he’ll reverse his decision in minutes.

You forgot about getting that Constitutional Amendment that would let him be President-for-Life, then pass the office down to Ivanka.

“You’ll never get pregnant if you never take a pregnancy test.”

  • Absolutely!
  • If we stop issuing death certificates, Americans will never die.
  • If we don’t release the unemployment numbers, no one will be unemployed.
  • If the Bureau of Fiscal Service doesn’t publish the debt, the deficit goes away.

If the Covidiot ends the emergency declaration and emergency funding, we will see the plague take over. It will be obvious to even his most ardent supporters. Regardless of testing, if you start seeing neighbors, parents or nieces/nephews constantly coughing or being taken to the hospital in ambulances, even the most stooopid will begin to understand. It will be time to realize that we are the Shithole Country of Trump’s wet dreams.

We’re around 5% infected now. We don’t get herd immunity until 60-70 % infected, at a minimum, if ever, depending on the duration of relative immunity provided by post-disease antibodies and the exponential infection (R0) rate. The greater the value of R0, the higher the percentage for herd immunity. The shorter the duration of relative immunity, the higher the percentage for herd immunity.

Yep, everything’s just fine in Texas. Nothing to see here.

"Texas Children’s Hospital confirmed late Monday it is admitting adult patients to free up hospital beds across Houston as coronavirus cases surge.

In a statement sent to KHOU 11, Texas Children’s Hospital said it is providing additional capacity through ICU and acute care beds across its campuses to both pediatric and adult patients.

Adult patients who have COVID-19 will be cared for in an expanded Special Isolation Unit at Texas Children’s Hospital West Campus. The hospital is also admitting adults who do not have COVID-19."

If he wins, yes. We have barely survived four years, the military almost broke at Lafayette Park.

With another four, that would be the last election in America.

Sorry about the OT but…

Sorry (not sorry) we couldn’t give the media old testament stuff; fire & brimstone, rivers and seas boiling, earthquakes, volcanoes, human sacrifice and dogs & cats living together with our primary vote in Jefferson County (Louisville). Everything went smoothly today, except for a lot of people showing up in the last hour and lines got long for cars pulling in. Charles Booker asked judge for an injunction letting all who are in line to vote. Haven’t heard if he got it, but he probably did.

There was even a group at the voting site providing wheelchairs for those in need for any lines or long walks through the facility. Local news reporting it went smoothly and they showed a bunch of new young voters getting cheered by poll workers.

Vote count is expected to be announced June 30th due to today being last day for post marks on mail ins. Not to say things can’t go wrong with that, but fuck all the BS fear mongering especially out of the UK.
