President Donald Trump was not surprised that it was his eldest son who was involved in organizing the infamous Trump Tower meeting between members of his campaign and a Russian lawyer, a key episode in the Russia investigation.
There was a time in this country they wouldn’t let you reproduce for being this stupid. Now I don’t believe we should bring that policy back, but dammit, if there’s one more generation like this one…
And Don, Jr.'s supposed to be the smart one, right? Relying on his kids or their spouses to get anything done right is sort of like trying to overhaul a transmission with a butter knife and some Crisco.
Of course, the apples don’t fall far from the moron tree.
I think The Prez is just going along with the already-agreed-upon lie that Senior (who was IN THE BUILDING) knew nothing, absolutely nothing (insert Sgt. Schultz impression here) about the meeting
I’m with Michael Cohen on this: Junior does not go to the bathroom without telling daddy if it’s #1 or #2.
Right. Where this does not hold up (and no doubt Daddy is resigned to Junior being an idiot) is Junior is so craven to Daddy’s approval, what didn’t Junior report? Junior did not initiate this meeting without Daddy’s go-ahead.
