Giuliani to Senator: ‘Try to Just Slow it Down’
The president’s lawyer tries to block the count of the Electoral College votes.

Hillary didn’t want anyone to know that she was masterminding the coup, never wanted that upstart Biden to achieve what she had failed to get.
The Trump minions go thru an array of characters, each united in greed and arrogance but possessed of disparate tasks and duties.
As we go up the chain of investigation, it occurs to me that some of them imagined that they possessed (and still possess) Trump’s position, perhaps leading to more mistakes and overlooked errors than would have occurred.
A snippet of one of the conversations that took place between an insurrectionist and Trump has been released:
Can you hear me try to overturn the election now?

Perhaps someone should contact Lily, who’s played by an actress born in the former USSR, about a possible Russian connection. Were these phones supplied by FSB agents? (Trump: I KNEW we should have gone with T-Mobile!)
Tuberville was at a meeting at the Trump International Corruption Brothel the night before the insurrection. There’s probably more to his involvement than happenstance.
Are we so sure no such record was created? Trump is known to have torn up and flushed (multiple times) official documents. Nothing that has been presented necessarily rules out such records from having existed (even if its also likely that such records were never created in the first place).
At the very least, it deserves investigation to clarify whether no records were created or whether records were destroyed.
Yup, that’s right, a Ukrainian cinematographer. Coincidence?
I’m glad you are on our side (I believe.) It would be awful to have someone who has an imagination like yours working for the crazy side…
Lock them up
Hanging 'em is off the table, then? I feel that hanging should not be off the table.
Scroll through the day (bottom of the article in the link). Cell phone calls were also recorded, to folks like gym jordan, scavino, 9/11nounverb, sean hannity, all listed as cellular.
That’s when he was being attended to by his staff. After he returned from the Ellipse, Trump retired to watch the insurrection on the teevee. So no surprise that there wasn’t anyone around to log his cell phone traffic.
The only way that makes sense is if rojo had let tfg know beforehand not to call him during the insurrection. I sincerely doubt if that happened. I still maintain tfg made the call without actually considering the recipient’s re-election prospects. Must have chosen tuberville because he knew of tuber’s willingness to serve as an inside witness.
If you feel the call made by tfg took into account the recipient’s re-election prospects we’ll have to agree to disagree (and I generally agree with your takes expressed here).
So why are they hell bent on keeping it all hidden?
Probably because they did some crimes and don’t want to get caught for it.
So no surprise that there wasn’t anyone around to log his cell phone traffic.
That ain’t even passing the smell test. Just happens to appear back on the records at 654, proceeding to make or receive another 21 calls before midnight (makes more calls than a teenager).
Switchboard folks were there the whole time, informed trump at 716 of 5 missed calls from folks (including hawley), just after he re-appears.
Just a reminder for those who may have forgot: this is why Trump was calling Tuberville.

working for the crazy side
Which begs the question…was that side crazy before @castor_troy started working for it?
Think about it…

Well, TBF, there’s also a good probability that they were all so high on Bolivian Marching Powder that they couldn’t operate a pen and paper. Or even, I suppose, distracted and waiting in line for a lap dance from Kim-whatz-er-name.
Could be. It’s just hard for me to think of a person as dumb as him as very efficacious. Low bar to entry in that group.
That ain’t even passing the smell test.
I’m not suggesting it’s normal for a president, but it’s certainly not abnormal for Fat Donnie. We’re talking about a dude who wouldn’t roll into the Oval Office until 11 am, knocked off for lunch and teevee time at noon, came back for maybe an hour or two later in the afternoon, then fucked back off to the private residence for an overdone cheeseburger and extra scoops before settling into an evening of Hannity and hate-watching CNN.
The president wanted to watch the insurrection on the teevee, and he didn’t want to be bothered by anyone else. Ivanka practically had to break down the doors to the bunker to see him.
If you feel the call made by tfg took into account the recipient’s re-election prospects
All I’m saying that if you want a dumb malleable senator to do something shady for you, for several reasons which include having six years for people to forget he did a dirty, potatoehead is an easier get tha rojo, who had been 10 years a senator at that point. This is in response to your original post wondering why they were going after potatoehead instead of rojo. You seem to have gone off on many tangents since then.
Are we so sure no such record was created?
I’m pretty sure. Trump was busy watching his criminal conspiracy bear fruit on live television. He wouldn’t have wanted anybody taking notes.
