Trump Wants ‘Alpha’ Twitter Troll Who Says ‘Straight White Males’ Are Persecuted to be Ambassador to Malaysia

Meanwhile, everyone wonders why men are so lonely.

I’m not even sure he could point out Malaysia from the Kuala Lumpur airport, unaided.

Okay, if some dude is an “alpha” male – how can he claim to be “oppressed”? Isn’t it a contradiction? If you’re actually “alpha”, you are not, by definition, a “victim” or “oppressed” or any other of those whiny, self-indulgent maga descriptors. Amirite?

You would need to know the answer to: What is “life”?

Our understanding to that question comes mostly as an operational definition, a kind of “I know when I see it because of such and such characteristics”. (As an aside, the question then becomes, ok, but which of those characteristics are foundational?) But the ambiguity of it leaves it open to gross manipulation.

My point here is, defining life and its existence, even the beginning of an individual’s life, does not fit a tidy definition. Most obviously, there was “life” that created the sperm and egg. Is that meaningless once sperm and egg come into existence, particularly for the egg donor? So, should we all deposit sperm or egg somewhere then die letting some government sponsored system in control to guarantee the sacred “person-hood” of each sperm and egg? How about a fetus, isn’t that something similar if we try to guarantee the person-hood of every fetus?

I would say that insisting we emulate the life pattern of some insects is a cultural revolution, but not one I want to sign on to

Yes. Infidelity in women is a capital offense. For men, it’s business as usual. That’s why maga-“Christians” rarely go beyond the Old Testament in their Bible studies, although they like to refer to this “Jesus” character sometimes, without mentioning how woke he was.

Didn’t you hear Vance the other day. The only real citizens are people whose ancestors fought in the civil war.

You don’t have to be stupid to be an ICE agent but it helps.

Jeebus! I remember Kinky but I’m lost in the catacombs of what it is I remember about Kinky. Something to do with AM radio or Howard Stern. Or 60’s radio bay area political personality.

Might have to take an early nap.

Kinky Friedman was a Texas musician associated with the Austin music scene in the 70s. He lived in Kerrville, the center of the current flooding. He was Jewish and had an acerbic sense of humor that often came out in his songs and his album titles such as “ Ride ‘em Jewboy “. Later in life he ran for governor of Texas but lost to George W Bush ( or Perry, a while back ). He was also an advocate for animals and ran a large animal shelter for abandoned and stray animals. He could be abrasive but was a general beloved eccentric

I worked for Fedex where people thought that Hawaii needed an international waybill because it was “over seas.” Yes “well, you have to fly over the seas to get there, that’s what it means, right?” No, sir, Hawaii is over the ocean. And it is one of the 50 United States. “Are you sure?”

They never questioned why Europe was “overseas” with the Atlantic Ocean. But that’s no surprise.
