Trump Wanted To Join March To Capitol Weeks Before Jan. 6

In the weeks leading up to Jan. 6, former President Trump reportedly attempted to pressure the Secret Service to devise a plan for him to join his supporters on a march to the Capitol, two people briefed on witnesses’ accounts to congressional investigators told the Washington Post.

Yeah, but in a totally non-violent, upholding the norms of democracy, peaceful transfer of power sort of way . . .

I’m old enough to remember that America elected a President named Biden. I’m sure he’s doing something that’s worth reporting here.

Trump Pushed Secret Service To Let Him Join March To The Capitol Weeks Before Jan. 6

If I understand this correctly—and I usually do—Chiselin’ Trump wanted to join the march to the Capitol weeks before January 6th. That seems reasonable, given how slowly that fat ass waddles.

This story cements the January 6 attack on the Capitol was part of Trump’s insurrection plan.

But remember, this was all “spontaneous” like a reality TV show.

The most powerful man in the world?

No.

Trump is a small man of constant failures.

This.

Though I’m sure Trump didn’t protest too hard when the Secret Service said he couldn’t join the march. Trump like to order the hoi polloi to do his bidding, not join them.

Weeks Before

TFG was involved with the planning. This is a point to amplify in the hearings.

I have trouble with Trump wanting to walk that far, maybe he had in mind be driven on a golf cart.

Additionally, the panel is probing if Trump and his aides played any role in encouraging the Secret Service to remove then-Vice President Mike Pence from the Capitol as a mob of Trump supporters stormed the Capitol, targeting Pence and others.

That’s what I need to know, whether ‘Orange Lear’ tried to assassinate the male version of Cordelia (Pence).

There is no way that TFG would make a two mile walk in early January. You cannot convince me that the detail leader wasn’t worried about a heart attack or having to piggyback the President to a waiting golf cart.

Biden? Didn’t he get coffee for Trump once?

Exactly. How do you plan weeks ahead for a spontaneous event?

He probably has never walked two miles in his life. He’s so out of shape he’ll need to take the elevator to hell when he croaks over

What the Secret Service informed Trump about the crowd seems relevant to Trump’s culpability. It’s pretty damning if Trump knew the crowd was dangerous, then egged them on anyway, despite having knowledge of their intent.
