An enraged President Donald Trump swore to personally thwart Sen. Lisa Murkowski’s (R-AK) reelection prospects on Thursday night after the senator applauded former Defense Secretary James Mattis’ searing essay about Trump’s infamous photo-op.
“Few people know where they’ll be in two years from now, but I do, in the Great State of Alaska (which I love) campaigning against Senator Lisa Murkowski,”
Maybe he can get a furlough from whatever New York state prison he will be in two years from now or maybe they will let him tweet from his cell. Otherwise, I doubt anyone is terribly worried about what he is going to be doing two years from now.
Sounds like a sign of strength from a stable genius at the peak of his game to me. Not the ravings of thin-skinned moron in full panic mode. Nope. Not that at all.
Not only won’t he be President, he’ll be unwelcome against any political event. He’ll be a pariah, especially for the GOP, because he’s going to PERSONALLY cost them all the power they’ve worked so hard to gain over the last two decades. It’s going to collapse like a house of cards in November through January and it’ll all be because of him.
And that’s, of course, if he isn’t already in prison or dead from the stress of prison.
All he’s done lately is tweet revenge against critics and crazy explanations about his view of what needs to be done to ‘dominate.’ Oh, and the occasional round of golf.
His dysfunction and increasing malfunction are in full display. And it’s going to get worse. Here’s hoping they have protocols in place if he starts to talk about using nukes.
She’s not up for re-election for 2 years. I don’t think he’ll live that long. Still she’ll be on the endangered Senators list because she could have put the country before her vote to not impeach this ass wipe. But she was brought and paid for like all the other woman tRump paid for favors.
Any “they” intent on enforcing protocols of any sort must deal with his phalanx of thugs – in the White House, in the Pentagon, at State, in the intelligence agencies, in the DOJ, and in the US Senate.
If you can you should see the footage of the police pushing over a 75 year old man who then proceeds to lie bleeding from the head on the ground. Not one of the terrorists stopped to help him.
I’m getting the impression Donnie’s moment is passing or past.
That doesn’t account for what he might try to do to retain power and relevance between now and January but, as usual, he’s burnt down whatever welcome he may have enjoyed. Now, it’s just a matter of folks waking up to that.
Oh, he’s gonna scream about it, but that’s neither new or fresh.
Certainly, I can’t imagine that there’s going to be a lot of power behind, or attention paid to, anything he does in two years.
“When I saw General Mattis’ comments yesterday I felt like perhaps we are getting to a point where we can be more honest with the concerns that we might hold internally and have the courage of our own convictions to speak up,” she said.
Translation: “Thank God he wrote that. Now I can think about considering lying less for the sake of appearances.”
