Trump Urges Supporters To Send Money To Him Instead Of ‘RINOS’ Amid War On Top GOP Fundraising Orgs

Yikes!

In a statement issued by his “Save America” political action committee that was written almost exactly like a tweet, ex-President Donald Trump urged his supporters to stop donating to “RINOS” (Republicans In Name Only) and redirect the cash to him instead.

Trump encourages supporters to drop off suitcases full of unmarked, non-sequentially-serial-numbered C notes at the front gate of Mar-a-Lago.

At what point does he register himself as a religion?

I don’t know, I’m just as amused as hell by this.

It’s a terrible thing to say.

I’m so glad to see that the ex-president has rediscovered his passion: hustling the rubes and claiming all the monies.

Love the letterhead that displays 45th larger than his own name.

It is too bad that can’t be sanctioned because, unfortunately for us, it is true: he is the 45th. But to fundraise so blatantly on it just seems sick.

I believe that was already achieved in practice, if not in name.
It’s going to have to happen, though. The way things are going, there may not be much of a party left for him to use before too long, so he’ll have to devote himself full time to his ministry.
I doubt, though, that he’ll get that tax exempt status he covets.

Well, CPAC already built the golden graven image.

There’s a lot to be said for Trump’s choices when it comes to retirement hobbies. His followers deserve to be fleeced, and it means that they have less money to put towards more harmful enterprises, like donating to the campaigns of similarly appalling people, but who actually have a shot at getting elected. He’s taken the G.O.P. hostage, which should brighten everyone’s day. He’s making it even more difficult for the Republican Party to reconcile its selfish and mean-spirited wing with its truly batshit crazy wing. That’s a good thing, too.

I’d say it’s all good.

Actually this is great news for us. This will lead to a split that will fracture the Republicans. Trump was never going to carry anything with his 40% , but relied on mainstream republicans to pick up the slack
The dissing and departure of those mainstream republicans is going to alienate those who at best held their nose and voted for Trump -R with an “R” behind him Aint’t going to happen when it becomes Trump (T) with the Trump party

What an idea, he must be mulling it over. Tax-avoidance without having to pay an army of crooked accountants? You shouldn’t have even said this out loud. Now it has to be inevitable.

Any day now he will have learned his lesson.

And we’ll see that pivot. Thank you for your insight Senator Collins.

Trump’s fundraising can only be characterized as "A Tax on Stupid."

Republicans are finding out that, while riding the tiger is exciting for awhile, it’s basically impossible to get off. They’ve had chance after chance to put Trump down: two impeachments, no less! But they wanted to stick with the money … and the followers. Now, it turns out Trump wants to take both for himself. Surprise!

It’s going to be an exciting decade or two until Trump shuffles off this mortal coil, and if the GQP has tied itself to Junior, Eric, or Ivanka, too, they’re doomed, too. At this point, it would be a mercy.

Why would he declare as a religion when he pays no taxes? Real Estate is a far easier way to avoid federal income taxes.
