Remember when he bragged about having been professional quality as a baseball player? Because there’s nothing as attractive as an adult who brags about what a fabulous athlete he or she was in high school.
That said, it’s also interesting that whenever he calls for a boycott of something he has to say that it is already failing. Baseball is “already losing a tremendous number of fans”, the NYTimes is “failing”, and many others. I’m not sure if he doesn’t attack things that he thinks are successful, or if he wants to show that things that he doesn’t like are already failing.
Nah, that guy had a twitter account.
Now let’s see if we can get them to give up NASCAR!
Not news anymore. The sooner he is ignored, the quicker we can undo what actions he took. But what he says is irrelevant to this country/planet.
Agreed. So does Stacey Abrams.
Hard disagree. Proof? The fact that Kemp and the GA ledge are losing their minds over it. GOP pigs don’t squeal unless they’re actually feeling stuck. This is playing terribly for them, and it’s only going to further fire-up the Dem organizers and base who put Warnock and Ossoff in the Senate–and, very possibly, therefore saved the Republic.
Kemp is going to lose bad on this one. All he’s done is provide a very, very photogenic opportunity for activist to turn the screws on corporations doing business in GA. This is smart and it will work.
The photo puts me in mind - again - of the movie, “The Untouchables”, where Robert De Niro, playing Al Capone, does a dinner speech with a baseball bat.
If De Niro isn’t channeling Trump, or the other way around, I don’t know anything. The cadence, the gestures… all the same.
I’m watching the Yanks today. Sorry Donnie!

WTF is Donnie babbling about now? And WTF is a ‘Woke’ company? I’ve never seen a Woke. Where do you buy them?
Maybe they can boycott baseball caps!
To boycott all the damned Republicans would leave me real hungry and without much stuff. I’d prefer something like a No Politics Pledge, a mass endorsement campaign where people go out of their way to support businesses that engage in no politics.
Please please keep spouting off like a fat toddler with a load in his diapers - we’re counting on you!
So now that Trump is banned from Twitter, I can see that he now has to put out press releases to get his message out to the faithful. But still no copy editor? I mean this is not him using his stubby fingers to create a tweet…
OT: Putin challenges Biden. Biden appears to have accepted the challenge. This bears watching.
Nice to have non-traitors back in charge.
Putin’s going to have a very bad day if he presses forward.
I can make this march, and I will make Georgia howl!
– William Tecumseh Telegram to General U.S. Grant (1864)
I wish I could watch my Blue Jays beat the Yanks again. /s
Enjoy.
Let’s all support the Georgia GOP by boycotting two of Georgia’s most iconic brands, the ones Georgia has plastered all over every bit of “why Georgia is great” marketing.
I hope you’re right but I don’t think the existence of the law inspires confidence in the approach. I’d rather see an affirmative endorsement campaign of progressive businesses,
