Trump will not be happy until the military is gunning down US citizens in the streets. He tried for it in DC last week and now it is Seattle.
He’s just itching to show how tough he is. If he can’t get a foreign war going, he’ll settle for sending the troops in somewhere in the US. The Washington and Seattle leaders have the right idea. Mock him. It will get him angrier, but it should take the whole thing down a notch to absurdities as opposed to armaments.
And the picture posted In the first comment suggests me that he is wearing a tight corset that’s keeping him upright (sort of) and trying to make him look thinner (fail).
What would be the reaction from all sides if he actually did order military into Seattle? Would top military follow order? Would R’s finally abandon him? Would SCOTUS support his action or call it unconstitutional?

Congratulations to the mayor and the governor for telling him to fuck off, on Twitter no less. Everytime one of his rants goes nowhere it makes him look stupid and powerless. I don’t think he has responded to Pelosi’s comments about removing Confederate statues from DC but I expect it is coming. Keep it up until he has a coronary or stroke.

I think Trump is actually terrified of an actual wartime situation. There is no way he wants to be in a position to have to publicly rally the nation, or speak words of comfort to the families of fallen servicemen. As you point out, it’s much safer for him to sic the military on unarmed citizens who can’t return fire.
How low can he go?
