It’s pretty clear how this is tied in to the decision to try to revoke visas of international students for taking all-on-line courses. Aside from hating foreigners and wanting them gone, it 's also about punishing universities by slashing at their bottom-lines and their reputations. Universities, every day, are more and more hated by the white wing. Conservative websites are absolutely full to the brim with anti-university sewage.

This is a slight adaptation of a real life personal experience. I was in some convenience store or another and some kid was getting a Slurpee or Icee or whatever melted snow cone affair the store sold and I innocently asked him “What flavor is that?”
He looked at me like I was the stupidest mofo from Mars who’d ever bounced off the turnip truck he’d just landed on, rolled his eyes and announced with an ample mix of contempt and derision: It’s blue!
