Then-President Donald Trump went to his first debate with Democratic challenger Joe Biden in September just three days after testing positive for COVID-19, ex-White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows writes in his upcoming book, “The Chief’s Chief.”
I think a lot of us on this site believed that Trump was COVID positive before he went to that debate and knew it. He came to that debate to infect and kill Biden. He failed. Biden has something stronger than teflon. Don’t bet against him.
On some level, I can understand that there exists self-consumed, corrupt, evil personalities that seek to be authoritarians, but it remains a riddle to me that their enablers support and ride with them on their destructive journey to the bitter end.
Iirc, didn’t Trump ‘s family and supporters refuse to wear masks at that debate? People who had close contact with Trump who tested positive and was symptomatic, should have been quarantining, not spreading the disease to others.
My wife was distraught after that debate…but not because of COVID. She was stunned by the gap between the decency of Joe Biden and the ravenous evil plainly evident in Trump…
And the willingness of millions to follow such a man.
Well, it’s good that this is confirmed, but honestly – we all knew it. Why else would he be bellowing like a spittle-flecked maniac at candidate Biden for two hours straight?
