All those years they spent convincing people that government was the problem was just ground game.
They want the money, and the sons of the people that committed the crimes that required regulation get to strike down that regulation out of ignorance, power, greed, and an arthritic governance that this fat fraud is going to tear down with his cheap suit and never ending idiot rage.

It isn’t that “liberals love” these agencies, it is independent agencies, many developed in response to the great depression, are critical to maintaining a stable economy. The great depression followed a guilded age of wild speculation and free booter capitalism. The architects of the independent agencies wanted to throttle back the excesses of an economy that was subject to devastating swings that nearly lead to the starvation deaths of millions of Americans. Capitalism works best when it has well known and well respected rules. Donald Trump and the MAGA movement don’t know or respect rules.

Trump will not do it. I expect him to say he will and Mexico’s going to pay for it but he won’t do it. He won’t repeal and replace the Federal Government with “something fantastic” nor will he get rid of the IRS in 30 days. The man’s got a track record. Lets stop this.

I think you might be being naive here. He’s targeted the ‘deep state’ as have the Republicans. It is about making sure no one can oppose him. It’s the end run that makes the dictatorship.

I don’t think NAZI or fascist really applies. Popular terms when discussing Trump but his fans club is not made up of those. It’s made up of provincial minds and those that stand to gain if he’s in power. Trump’s team learned from Nixon and Reagan that in order to you have to get votes and the Fast and Furious crowd aren’t going to do that if you reach out to them with ideas and facts. To haul in this set of under educated lost in America Americans you replace fact and issue oriented politics with Rambo First Blood politics. Lie to them. Piss them off. Take the thinking out of it and make it visceral. Nixon, a Californian, called this The Southern Strategy which says all you need.

Trump wins, blue states should join Canada, New England has a solid maple Syrup industry and is already close.
DNC would be happy, takes care of the NH problem for primaries

America is for sale and has been bought. Texas has just decided to show themselves to be bigger than America, and are now refusing the Federal government access to their land.
You have the same churches that approved of slavery, justified the Civil War, and licensed Jim Crow, except now they have one of their mystery-money pastors as the Leader of the House.
The evangelical church uses love-bombing and other cult recruitment techniques to recruit, while at the same time teaching their children to proselytize to their classmates - I’ve seen the books.
They’ve gutted their opposition over 40 years ago by breaking the public sector unions and rewarding their backers to do it - all made out like bandits.

Yep. If Trump wins this time then America will be changed forever, and what you think is insurmountable today will be something you can’t believe even existed.

He came into government thinking it ran like a corporation and he would be the CEO, with everyone taking orders from him. Spent four years fighting the entrenched bureaucracy and he still wants it to work that way if he can get away with it. I guess there isn’t any real distinction between that and wanting to be a dictator.
