It has been said that the Nomination is for Trump to lose. That may well be true. I believe that we have enough at stake to deny Trump the Oval Office. There are too many issues and trends going against Trump for him to prevail.

For Democrats to be successful in Red states they have to promise those constituents they intend to cut their Social Security and Medicare benefits, strip their schools of funding, deprive women of reproductive choice, persecute and oppress LGBT people, jail more minorities, ignore pollution and the environment, flood the market with guns and promise to abandon our allies and people in need in other nations. Doing this would represent a major rift with what they promise in Blue states, so I don’t see it happening.

Veep can’t be from the same state, though I guess TFG could change his residency to Bedminster, NJ, though i don’t know if a former noo yorker would admit to living in joisey. Besides, TFG never plays second banana and would make deSnivel move. But deSnivel brings nothing to the ticket except Florida, and TFG already has that.

Trump owns a residence in NY. He merely declares his residency is no longer FL, it’s NY.
He would win the nomination while sitting in prison, such is his advantage over his challengers. As a matter of fact being imprisoned would clinch the nomination. MAGA voters love martyrs. The RNC and GOP would reluctantly bet on him getting released to serve if elected. And he would.
