After a presidential debate on Tuesday night that was by all counts a complete train wreck, President Donald Trump littered his Twitter feed with attacks against debate moderator and Fox News host Chris Wallace early Wednesday.
Well, that pretty much makes all of us in agreement.
By all reports, Wallace lost every shred of credibility he had going into this thing. I accused him if not being fair and partial last week and many assured me I was wrong. That didnât go so well. His late father must be spinning in his grave.
In Wallaceâs defense, Iâm not sure anyone else wouldâve done a better job against the tyrant we saw last night and, honestly, I think we got a good look at what the WH staff deal with every g-dd-mned day and, Iâm sorry, but this guyâs gotta go.
What we have here in terms of public opinion is the parable of the five blind men and the elephant. Everyone has grabbed on to their own piece and thatâs what defines the debate for them. In other words, it probably had no effect, especially given that I will bet half the viewing audience turned it off before 30 minutes passed.
Wallace bailed Trump out no less than 9 times last night.
Biden kicked ass, plain and simple. All this pearl clutching over cancelling the next two debates is shockingly stupid.
Two more debates? I want six more debates! I want Crying like Jimmy Swaggert! Trump is a shameful clown, and I want to see all three rings of this circus. I want it ground into every idiots brain the Trump train wreck they have supported.
I didnât watch, but i gather from reports that he did manage to call the Proud Boys to his defense, and pretty much said F U to the rest of the country. Why so much yelling if thatâs the extent of his message?
Regardless, iâll be anxious to see the post-debate polls.
Remember: coming into this, Biden supporters said Trump is a lying ignorant bully, who supports white supremacists. He confirmed their story. Trump supporters said Biden is senile and suffering from dementia. He clearly isnât. Everything else is peripheral.
