Biden’s advisers are doing it so let’s expect most men will be weighing in on the benefits of having a woman as Veep. They’ll conclude there are none.

He’s also ensuring that CNN and the network Sunday shows will “cover the controversy” and add more fuel to the fire. I predict a lot of Rick Santorum appearances and endless repeating of Trump co’s smears.

The Dems better be ready. OTOH, they probably don’t quite know how to address suburban moms, much less waitress moms without sounding preachy and sanctimonious. Probably the Lincoln Project would do a better job with a scorched-earth ad depicting Trump as a would-be tough guy who validates his fake he-man status by “picking on girls.”

I think, for the most part, the Democrats do a fairly good job addressing these issues. Its the talking heads CNN chooses to put on that don’t.

According to the polls I’ve seen, the Dems are doing much better with suburban moms than in 2016, using a passive program called “Any Competent Adult in 2020.”

They’re fed up with Trump’s incompetence, and Biden doesn’t trigger the same anti-Hillary sentiment that shifted votes to Trump in 2016.
