Trump Smacked With A Fine And The Prospect Of A Renewed Gag Order

ten or fifteen Republican politicians.

The current house would rather impeach the three liberal women on the Court and there isn’t a single Republican in the Senate who would vote to convict Slappy T.

He is above the law, he knows it and he flaunts it.

But really, Matt Gaetz is the new Speaker. Right?

The money quote.

“There’s no better embodiment of Trump’s formula for violence than a mentally disturbed man invoking the First Amendment — just as Trump does here — even as he stalks someone Trump has invited him to target.”

Future Speaker! And at the ripe age of 14! He’s interning right now under the master fascist.

“a substantial risk of serious behavior”

The Maine yellow flag law.

Why wouldn’t a doctor assert such a clear, legal directive to stop a Republican’s second amendment right to bear weapons of war in the mall?    ; - )

Colors have been late this year in NJ, but starting to come around. My morning coffee view.

Oh.

I was a school administrator for 21 years. My biggest fear was that someone in the two very well-armed, rural communities where I worked would decide that they needed to come down to my school and shoot the place up. Thankfully that did not happen–although it did happen relatively close by.

The fact that Congress did literally nothing after Sandy Hook is beyond disgusting and repulsive. If dead, young school kids doesn’t spur meaningful action, what will?

Or, perhaps, “King Leer”?

Take care! I was talking with a friend at Bowdoin and we were hopeful Mainers would not put up with the “we need Assault Rifles to hunt” BS, but then again any sentient being should be able to see through that and still they are easier to get than electric cars.

Letslet the mentally unstable have alla the weapons they want. RPG’s free to Kennedy’s neighbors I say!!!
Next will be “guns allowed where alcohol is served”… as in neighborhood dive bars… what could go wrong?
Wait… Arizona already allows that.

Such hard work
Nothing we need to address now, SO
With the urgent need to avoid a government shutdown and to provide emergency funding for Ukraine, Israel, etc. House Republicans just wasted three weeks in chaos and are now taking a looong weekend. Pathetic.

Who knows what rattles around in his ever-shrinking demented brain, but I really don’t think he’s got any long-term plan. He’s a malignant narcissist who acts impulsively to protect his fragile ego. He has a small handful of very predictable responses to everything that happens to him; people who flatter him get thumbs up, people who castigate him (or don’t bow deeply enough in fealty) get thrown under the bus. Any insult or humiliation is met with boiling anger and an intense barrage of invectives and threats, as he learned from his daddy and mob boss lawyer Roy Cohn. And he never forgets an insult. All his life he’s acted this way and gotten away with it. He’s not going to reform now.

He’s pure id. Any coherent plan is outside his range of capabilities, especially with his growing dementia.

Well, being highly educated does not insure immunity from being stupid, they are not mutually exclusive. With Kennedy’s taking the position that “would preserve gun rights for veterans deemed mentally unfit to manage their benefits,” I would characterize his stance as stupid. And grotesque. And reckless. And dangerous, as well as inconsistent with the expressed will of the American voting public.

Thoughts and prayers mean nothing to dead children.
Or their families.
