This is a disaster for the campaign, mostly on the Republican side. Lots of people on their side aren’t bothering to use masks or distance, they aren’t taking it seriously, so wherever this exposure started it will flow through a lot of people on the Republican side. Senators, Representatives, the Trump campaign…we’re about to see a lot of sick Republicans, at least the ones that are honest about being tested and having it. And, in serious cases it takes about a month for people to start dying…senior Republicans dying right before the election is a bad look for the party.
This will affect Democrats too, as the irresponsibility of the Republicans will cross over. Biden and his team being at the debate is only the most visible example of this. We’ll have to wait and see how badly it affect them too.
Trump should not have appeared at the shitshow debate, but maybe he wanted to expose Biden. It looks like they were more than 6 ft apart, but Trump was bellowing and probably blowing virus for 90 minutes. Motherfucker.
