President Donald Trump said on Sunday afternoon that he’d “love” to release a transcript of his call in July with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, during which Trump reportedly tried to pressure Zelensky into investigating Joe Biden.
“The problem is when you’re speaking to foreign leader, you don’t want foreign leaders to feel they shouldn’t be speaking openly and good.”
Yeah, I’m pretty sure Zelensky’s the guy who needs to worry about the conversation becoming public. And I’m certain his English is better than whatever this gibberish is.
“I would love to do it but you have to be a little bit shy about doing it.”
Trump and “shy” in the same sentence? Never thought I’d see the day.
All eight of them? Un-redacted? Consider me suspicious. trump knows he’s in deep do-do.
He always said he really, really hoped that someday we could see his tax returns, too, but somebody else was preventing him from showing them. So, yeah, I’m not interested in what he’d love to happen.
Oh, for Christ’s sake, just open formal impeachment hearings NOW. And for the sake of everyone’s sanity, can Trump be forbidden to speak in his own defense?
Of course he says this, knowing full well that he would never in a million years allow that to happen.

What a difference a day makes. Yesterday it was all about Biden, that didn’t work so now he is desperately trying to look willing to release it. We’ve seen this play before. Trump is feeling the squeeze and it is only going to get worse.
would he be releasing the transcripts with those tax returns he swore he’d love to release? or will suddenly discover the transcripts are under audit?

It was one phone call in which he asked for them to open a Biden investigation eight times. Which anyone who has ever heard him be talk and be fixated on a topic can easily believe.
The problem with that tack it that others have the transcripts already. If he tries to doctor them that will explode in his face and make matters worse…so of course, that is what he will try to do.
If he put the transcript in a manila folder with the paperwork that proves Melania’s immigration was on the up-and-up he could save the price of a stamp.
