Trump’s Top Election Theft Lawyers Didn’t Even Believe Their Own B.S.

In Thursday’s Jan. 6 Committee hearing, former Vice President Mike Pence’s chief counsel Greg Jacob recalled the moment when Donald Trump’s top election theft advisor, John Eastman, admitted that even he didn’t believe his plot to steal Trump a second term was legitimate.

Nothing like a Presidential pardon request to demonstrate to the world one’s complete innocence. Me thinks Mr. Eastman got cold feet in the days after the insurrection once his illegal scheme failed miserably to move Pence. I think I understand now why Eastman didn’t want his emails exposed to broad daylight. If there is any justice in this country, Mr. Eastman will breathe his last breath in a jail cell.

Later, in a deposition before the committee, he did assert his Fifth Amendment right against self-incrimination more than one hundred times.

Chiselin’ Trump: “That’s not true! Eastman asserted his 100th Amendment rights just five times!”

Which crate was suppose to house Trump?

But even so…Ari Melber had one of them on (or a Trump lawyer) and he STILL couldn’t utter the words ‘Trump LOST’…he spun and twirled and finally admitted that Biden got more electoral votes but he had ‘grave concerns’ about how the states counted the votes.

This is the kind of revelation that might impress the rubes.

I was watching that, too.

I reached for my baseball bat. Fortunately it was out of reach.

They really were just pulling legal theories out of their asses. All to calm the hurt fee-fees of a 74-year old baby.

Well, we can be dead-sure of one thing: Charges will be brought against John Eastman.

Everyone’s throwing him under the buses.

So will he end up being the next Ollie North?

Whose fee-fees would only be soothed if they stole the election for him.

Charles Burnham of Burnham and Gorokhov in DC is John Eastman’s defense attorney. Does he qualify as “f’ing great”? Did he follow Herschmann’s advice? I am not an attorney and do not understand these technical terms.

Is that from Kane?

I like Melber, but I have to say his hot take on yesterday’s hearing, at the midpoint, admittedly, was irritating. He thought Luttig was not helping the case, as if we need the Friends version of every legal argument. While I’m sorry SNL isn’t on this week to spoof the judge’s elocutory style, the man brought dignity and weight to the proceedings.

None of the crates are large enough to fit his diapered ass into.

Belief had nothing to do with it. If the scheme had been pulled off, the Democratic Party would have had to figure out and implement a way to reverse it against a sitting dictator.

TV show “Warehouse 13”.

I’m that there’s a saw packed away somewhere in that warehouse.

It quite brilliant to have J. Michael Luttig testifying yesterday since both John Eastman and Senator Ted Cruz were clerks for him at the same time. That is where those two became close friends and still are. Remember Ted Cruz was going to argued John Eastman’s theory to Congress that night and to the courts. Plus, Judge Luttig is recovering from a stroke that he had a few months ago and to him it was important that he be there in person to refute John Eastman’s words and theory. That is why Chairman Bennie Thompson let him have the last word at the hearing yesterday.
