Marc Scaringi, an attorney who took over President Donald Trump’s feeble voter fraud lawsuit in Pennsylvania on Monday after the lawyers heading the case abandoned ship, seems to have had a whiplash-inducing of heart as to how effective Trump’s corrupt attempts to overturn President-elect Joe Biden’s electoral victory via the courts will be.
So they’re conceding the point?

That’s what I thought.
I was about to write “it’s one thing to admit this on your radio show and quite another to admit it once you are actually the counsel” when it occurred to me how absurd it is that the attorney for POTUS has a radio show. I was also going to say that I hate to be a snob about this kind of thing but I’m won’t. It’s absurd to be pursuing such a baseless claim that you have to keep replacing your attorneys as they realize that you not only have no case, you also have no problem destroying their reputations, and you have no intention of paying the fees.
As the news unfolds, it is also becoming much more obvious that the rigging of the election, the voter repression, and the complete abandonment of any pretense of a free and fair election did indeed occur, and it happened at the direction of Donald Trump.
Let me add something that perhaps TPM should have included: At the 2016 Republican National Convention, this lawyer, Marc Scaringi, was a Trump delegate.

Yes, and isn’t this lawyer basically admitting he’s about to lie to the court? Won’t the bar have something to say about that?
And isn’t this the very essence of the frivolous lawsuit? When you know, in advance, that even if you “win” the case, it won’t make any difference in the real world, aren’t you just wasting the court’s time?
