Fixed it.
it was a protest
I grew up on military bases. I’ve seen a lot of military parades. This was not one of them.
President Vance. Sorry to scare you.
Since Trump is well known as a notable judge of both character and competence, we can rest easy knowing that Governor Tim is a man of both high character and high competence.
Yup. I have lived in allegedly blue Oregon for nearly 40 years, and have yet to be represented in the state legislature by a Democrat.
But we had over 300 people out on Saturday in small town Oregon protesting next door to the weekly farmer market, so hundreds of people drove/walked by and could not possibly have missed it.
Expressed support for our gathering was at nearly 100%, with the few outliers getting the reactions they deserved.
As a side note: I am not a boisterous political activist. Until this spring I had done plenty of other political stuff, but had never participated in a public protest. At 70, this is an entirely new experience for me. I think this speaks to the urgency of the moment—and it is clearly urgent.
I think there are a lot of other people like me doing the same.
For me, participating in a protest is a real upper–the companionship of like minded people and the honks and cheers from passersby in cars and trucks lifts my spirits.
The Gulf of Juneteenth
We hear that.
Color me skeptical. That sounds like more of that Big Don the Deal Maker bullshit.
While “Believe the Autocrat” is sound advice, in my view, it comes with a giant caveat, to wit:
Believe his Plans—the rest of it is lies.
A Monday note in passing: now VA doctors can refuse to treat Democratic veterans. It would be good for reporters (and vets) to watch for instances of this, should it occur.
Vance for a couple years - but Vance can’t win a National election. He probably can’t even win the GOP nomination without Trump’s endorsement.
A Trump funeral followed by a short Vance Presidency is likely a win-win for Democrats.
Further, it is hard to see ANY other GOP candidate winning nationally after ten years of sucking Trump’s cock. They ALL did it except for the Never-Trumpers who are currently “politically homeless”.
They ALL look like sad sack wimps who never had the courage of their convictions because - they never had worthy convictions to start with.
The sight of Rubio and Vance, Whiskey Pete and all the rest of them on the reviewing stand with Trump in the rain on Saturday was just pathetic.
If they do they have violated their Hippocratic Oath and should lose their licenses to practice medicine. This probably won’t happen - at least not publically.
If the protests this weekend send a message to the members of Congress in the states where these huge, peaceful gatherings occurred, the necessity of controlling Trump’s assault on this country will perhaps begin to make sense to even the dumbest MAGAT.
the politicians ignored the VIETNAM protests also…
obviously., h is being managed by some people we cnnot see or ever will see.he is the front man.
