More proof that the Freedom Caucus is an unserious group of performers. They don’t really want to change anything or they’d stop giving in.

I’m reading these two articles and they have tons of information in them. One thing that caught my eye is that Trump’s lead lawyer Todd Blanche represents both Steve Bannon and Boris Epshteyn.

That is a valid conjecture!

All of Trump’s bullshit is aimed directly at pumping up the media and influencing those poor souls who completely obsess over it. Let’s see what happens in Miami today. If a bunch of MAGA heads show up guns blazing then we have a real crisis. If they don’t Trump will be further diminished just like he was when he was arraingned in New York.

Apropos of today’s events in Miami, this upcoming sentencing hearing in Kansas City:

The prosecution of Kingsbury offers a window into how seriously the Department of Justice takes mishandling of classified information, and how aggressively federal prosecutors pursue those who unlawfully retain sensitive documents. As Trump prepares for his first court appearance on Tuesday, the Kansas City case underscores the legal stakes confronting the former president. “Her situation has been publicized locally and nationally — garnering mention alongside prominent political figures whose conduct appears uncannily analogous to Ms. Kingsbury’s,” Marc Ermine, an assistant federal public defender who is representing Kingsbury, wrote in a sentencing memo filed in court on Monday.

Trump is a cancer - an aggressive nasty malignancy that should be fully & completly excised… because there is zero chance of him going into remission.
His niece is absolutely correct in her diagnosis of him.

It’s quite the needle to thread to find a lawyer who can actually meet the clearance requirements who wouldn’t also be recommending DT take a plea deal 5 minutes after meeting with him as a defendant.

At what point are Cruz & Co. going to drop the pretense they’re peddling that the charges are inflated, that it’s prosecutorial persecution, weaponization, and blah-blah, and just come out and say it? –

“Trump is above the law.”
