One thing you can say about MA Republicans: at least you don’t want to strangle them ALL the time. I’ve always found Weld somewhat likable though, not least because he’s a fellow Deadhead hehe

At this point, I would look not unfavorably upon a coalition of Democrats and Trump-phobic Republicans forming a “national unity ticket” with, say, Kamela Harris and Bill Weld. We can argue about conservative vs liberal approaches to solving real world problems both sides agree on after trump is gone.

Weld’s a MA Republican, much in the same way John Lindsay was a NY Republican. They tolerate him and Charlie Baker so that they can have an office in the commonwealth.
