Turns out Trump did think the mob had taken Pence after he got a call from Tuberville. His tweet about the VP lacking the courage to overturn the election was likely Pence’s eulogy, as well as the green light to lynch him. Nice guy. Psychotic, but nice enough for the GOP.

Write to them that you are on to their tricks. That you expect fair reporting. That you will be contacting their sponsors and boycotting their products. Then write to their sponsors and explain that a healthy democracy has a fair press, and you will boycott their products unless the pull from a channel that lies to protect an insurrection.

I’d like to think you’re right, but after the last 4 years all bets are off. The Senate just acquitted him for directing a lynch mob to ransack their own home. Military sanity is not something I’d bet the farm on.
