A lot of things happened. Here are some of the things. This is TPM’s Morning Memo.
Just listened to the recording, which is on CNN. Lordy, it’s just as been described, only worse.
I heard it last night and never realized someone could say so many words with ought actually saying anything. Certainly nothing meaningful.
OT:
Are there any recordings of Trump praising Putin over throwing the over throwers?
Plenty of meaning for Jack Smith.
That is indeed theocracy.
Shorter Ma Hamhock: “We don’ need no steenking separation of Church and State!”
We are all pretty quick to hate on Judge Cannon but this time she might have made a decision that favors the press more than Trump. I understand the networks really appreciate the ruling.
Speaking of RFK Jr.
Good article.
Morning Memo tries to maintain a bird’s-eye view of the Trump prosecutions
Where shall we shit next? Aim carefully.
Sick, sick, sick and tired of hearing about people’s “beliefs”.
Belief and imagination? How about fugging facts and doing your damned job?
Excerpt:
The FBI and Department of Homeland Security failed to believe intelligence that painted a clear warning that the Jan. 6 Capitol riot was being planned, a new Senate committee report released Tuesday reveals.
“Planned in Plain Sight,” a report by the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee, highlights red flags missed in the days and hours before the 2021 insurrection.
…The report criticizes the lack of urgency from the FBI. “Federal officials simply didn’t believe what they were being told,” the Post reported.
…“The failure was largely a failure of imagination"

Days and hours? How about months, years, decades?
I like the way “preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States” has become a radical, far-left idea.
Are we talking about QAnon supporters?
Got something against pigs knuckles??
Oh, my goodness this month has been wild. Makes me wonder what is in store for July. I mean this is better than the time the local police arrested the drug addict living across the street, who tried to play innocent when the police came knocking at the door. He pretended to be taking a shower and didn’t hear the police tell him to come outside and have a talk with them. He came outside with nothing but a towel on. The police arrested him and took him off to the county jail. He was aiding wanted murderers.
Something more to watch, three Russian aircraft took off at the same time this morning, with one having a flight plan to fly to Washington DC and no information on where the other two are heading off too. Speculation is one is heading to China and the other to Astana, Kazakhstan. Why Astana? Nukes.
Plus, Prigozhin landed in Minsk at 7:37am and another one of Prigozhin’s jets arrived from Saint Petersburg at 7:58am. I wonder if Prigozhin got his money and passports from that other flight?
The 3 Rs: ‘reading, riting, and rithmatic’!
Science turned this guy off!
In the meantime, a sign on the freezer’s door read: "This freezer is beeping as it is under repair. Please do not move or unplug it. No cleaning required in this area.
“You can press the alarm/test mute button for 5-10 seconds if you would like to mute the sound.”
But days after the alarm started sounding, the cleaner turned off the circuit breaker providing electricity to the freezer.
The majority of specimens that were meant to be kept at -80C were “compromised, destroyed and rendered unsalvageable, demolishing more than 20 years of research”, according to the legal case.
