I agree, Pence would be more conventional–when it comes to the pandemic, dealing with our allies, etc. As for the right wing religious stuff, Trump is already doing that.

I was struck by that as well. They may have done this occasionally but I certainly don’t remember many instances of it. I guess when your life is frivolously endangered there’s a threshold crossed.

He’s not Trump and that’s a good start. My concern with Trump dying before he gets voted out is how ascendency would effect the presidential race. As is, Trump is the best pro-Biden ad you can hope for.

Just saw Biden stand WAY too close to the press gaggle. All were wearing masks but that’s still poor practice. We simply cannot afford to have anything happen to him. In fact his wife had to remind him to stand further away, which he did.
