Trump’s Coronavirus Treatment: Here’s What We Know | Talking Points Memo

We were just shy of idiocracy when Trump started, we have since gone ludicrous speed way past it…

We’ve gone plaid

And then there’s what Trump has done to it.

These Trump people are nut cases for sure.

I’d bet even odds that some of them are just fine but want the quarantine period just to avoid the mayhem.

HIPAA has him covered here.

Don’t forget that the Preshitident and his Escort got the trumpvirus because of incessant kissing from members of the military and law enforcement.

Maybe this is all a brilliant and daring move in which he assumes the role of patient to test treatment protocols and let us know that, after the worst case scenario, he’s got this. Everything is beautiful, wonderful and bigly hyperbolic as usual.

When I was a youngster, I was sent annually to the (RC) church to ‘have my throat blessed’. This ritual was performed to prevent common colds, etc. My college-educated mother (well, Catholic college) believed this malarkey.

Diaper Don. Yep, he’s got plenty of reason not to be confrontational with Psycho Daddy.

It’s just a variation on some of his standard lines. “Whatever I’m doing is the best thing anyone has ever done and I’m the master of whatever it is, and you’ll be hearing more about it in two weeks.”

Army song.
“This is my rifle
This is my gun
One is for shooting
One is for fun
Gee mom I wanna go
But they won’t let me go
Home”

And CNN is reporting that there is a second press office underling who tested positive.

What is most significant is that Gilmartin’s test “came back positive over the weekend”. And the ONLY reason we are probably hearing about it now is that some reporter had his home phone number… and called when they saw that the Press Office was pretty much closed down.

They are covering up the full extent of the outbreak in the White House. It might as well be one of those slaughterhouses/“meat processing plants” that were among the worst initial hotspots…

Simplest answer is that he’s previewing the upcoming narrative that he’s Mr. Tough Guy because he beat the virus, and that it’s no big deal.

He can’t afford to say the virus is actually a terrible experience, because it directly contradicts everything he’s been saying to get the economy back.

You truly can’t make this stuff up.

Trump campaign press director Erin Perrine bragged during a Fox News interview about Trump’s “firsthand experiences” that Biden lacks–including the fact that the Democratic candidate hasn’t been hospitalized for COVID-19.

Yep they are blasting Biden for not being a moron like any Trump. True the Pestilent is more in-sync with his idiotic red-state base.

““[Trump] has experience as commander-in-chief. He has experience as a businessman. He has experience, now, fighting the coronavirus as an individual,” Perrine said. “Those firsthand experiences, Joe Biden, he doesn’t have those.””

Biden has experience with his children dying.

Looks like he’ll have to pick his two least favorite to die if he wants to feel our pain. I’m betting it’ll be Gums and Beardy McCokeFiend.

Actually Sam Malone made a very similar point years ago. Respect!

Seriously though, it surprised him to learn this. The disconnection between Lincoln and the modern Republicans is something he’s aware of on some level. What a weirdo*.

*I just can’t put any energy into his psyche. I’m too unqualified and he 's too fucked up.

Not playing this game. Trump has been putting other people in danger since at least February – and that’s what the electorate should be made to confront.

So QAnon and the GOP are essentially the same thing, then. They go DEEP.

Maybe, but that depends in large part on 'Rona Romney and the Trump Administration not being morons. Even if they did know about 'Rona Romney’s possible exposure on Wednesday or even earlier, it’s overwhelmingly likely that their response would be to totally ignore it.

BTW, is Rudy positive yet? How about Stephanie Grisham? I’ve got both of them on my White House COVID card.
