the whole point of contact tracing and isolation is that you get to spreaders before they show symptoms and test positive.

Yes I agree about Trump’s dislike of testing.

I suspect that there was awareness of the possibility of exposure earlier than the documented worries about Hope Hicks on AF1 coming back from Minnesota on Wednesday.

Trump was with McDaniel traveling to Florida, Georgia and Virginia on the Friday before the Saturday Rose Garden event, which McDaniel did not attend. She was not part of the debate prep either and it appears she may have started self-isolating that Saturday instead. It is reported she had a “family exposure” and was tested five days later, which is a usual length of time to wait after a suspected exposure. So the campaign likely have known there was a possible exposure in their inner circle for nine or ten days.

In fact, she should continue that Trump has intimate knowledge that there are some lying opportunistic scum in the government willing to cover up what they know about a deadly disease not only to stay in power, but - get this - have people in the states of their political opponents catch more of it!
