McDaniel tested positive on Wednesday afternoon, around the time Trump was heading to his superspreader rally in Minnesota. There are no reports that he took a test Wednesday, and it is perfectly in character for him to have refused one if it was even suggested. At all times, Trump’s instinct is to ignore the virus. Besides, 'Rona Romney didn’t announce her positive test until Friday. It’s not at all certain that the White House was aware of it on Wednesday, since we’re dealing with incompetent morons here.
Trump was a whiny bitch about getting tested back in, what?, May? It seems entirely likely that he has never been tested regularly, just that the people coming in contact are supposed to get the fast-result test with lots of false negatives before they get in the room with him.

but - it is certain that it will be met with derision and scorn from staunch conservative Catholics - there are “devout” Catholics who spit on the ground at the mention of Francis’s name - seems really really odd - since these are people who preach absolute obedience to the will of God - and that the will of God is delivered unto them by the Pope … guess that only applies as long as the Pope says what they want to hear.
