Trump Revels In GOP’s Near-Unanimous Vote Against Resolution

If you are thinking it will help REPUG, no it just confirms their own stance. If you mean “independents” you may get some but I think most of true independents have already elected to take country over and party. Those REPUGS that now call themselves independents will back the REPUGS.

We need to burst the Fox bubble – these women believe the lies:

It’s always nice to have another anchor when the Titanic is halfway down into the ocean.

“Strong house leadership stood up to Trump”

At least it will be good comedy.

I know of an orange anchor we can use. Despite his lard ass, he won’t float.

Chris Matthews would have been in a fit of orgiastic ecstasy for his entire show.

And thanks to CNN for giving them a platform. Yet again. Maybe, one day, they can have some Democrats on.

What a great image: The school bully snickering to his little toadies so as to conceal his humiliation.

I was referring to any sentient, moral voter, regardless of party.

Thing is this is more to rub it into the GOP’s face than the Dems; he’s basically saying “You’re all my cronies!”

The first job of a Fascist is to change History to their advantage.
See Germany Revisionist History once the Nazis came to power.

Also, remember: “The Victors write the History.”

Example: Richard the III, the last of the Plantagenet Kings.
Depicted for CENTURIES by the victorious Tudors as a vile and evil King (see Shakespeare, who relied on Tudor patronage for income) was actually a well liked and effective King.

One of my favorite quotes: Voltaire - “History is a lie commonly agree upon.”

This is, in fact, doing what Trump wants.

Handwringing and glass-half-empty. But it could be looked at in another way.

The resolution is in the Congressional Record, and it will have use later.

Four GOPPERS voting for the Resolution is four more than most of us thought would happen.

The GOP is four percentage points in membership down over the summer…and four Stockholm-Syndrome GOP women reveling in racism does not mean a thing.

For the sake of my best friend (who is African American) I pray thanks to The Almighty that his ancestors went through 400 years of oppression without giving up…which is what I see too much of all around me.

Matthews still has those mescaline-infused unicorn-farted daydreams of Tip and Ronnie romping hand-in-hand through a field of daisies like the little Ingalls girl during the end credits of “Little House On The Prairie”.

I think Tip was savvy enough to instead say the following.

"Madame speaker, the resolution should have been your floor speech and the Floor speech should have been the resolution.

Now all the coverage is about you and the president’s reaction, no longer about his racist language nor about the Freshman members of Congress… oh wait, never mind is see what you did there"

The mind reels at the very thought…

“and he reveled in House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s (D-CA) reprimanding for breaking House rules when she called him racist.”

If Nancy did this more often she as well as the Democrats would take the mic away from Trump. If we do not let the image dwindle down to looking like a bunch of nattering geese, we will be playing Trump rules against him. Remember that, Trump in his dysfunction cannot take the same heat he gives. The Republicans will fling what once was the most unimaginable crap at their adversaries. Then scurry back to the idea of civility and decorum when criticized strongly and in blunt terms. Instead of being cowed by that response, up the volume. We cannot play yesterday’s game. The one specific point to the freshmen is they are exactly that, blunt and bold. Balance the mix and use everyone’s strengths to the advantage. Trump is unapologetic in his rhetoric and attempt to drive the emotional state of his audience. We need to do the same. The fun part is whatever the Democrats have to say in these things, they need not lie or cheat, they just need to get on the court and play hard.

Yes, they voted almost 100% deplorably, with the deplorable. Quite an ‘honor’.

So Democrats then :yum:
