President Trump kicked off Sunday morning by going on a Twitter spree that included retweeting a video of a supporter in Florida agreeing that he’s a racist and chanting “white power.”
Evil-signaling.
Not shocking… it’s the Villages after all. But if there is protest in that lily white enclave of republicanism, he may be toast in FL after all.

It’s hard to say exactly where we are on the road to the ultimate inevitability of his resignation, but i genuinely feel and am hopeful that today marks a tangible movement in that direction.

Most of the focus in the video is on the protester with the sign that says “Trump is a racist and a bigot.” Someone at the end says several times, “Grab ‘em by the pussy.” And it’s in the Villages. Not exactly the strongest and most powerful message for the “president.”
I am generally not a big believer in the distraction theory about Trump’s tweets, as it attributes too much strategic thought to his blind impulses. In this case, though, it does seem likely that he’s trying to distract from the big story—i.e. Mutiny on the Bounties.

Resignation is what a sane and reasonable person would do but… trump’s mental make up does not allow for it. I would be shocked if he did do it

I’ve heard The Villages was already hard hid by Covid-19, yet they continue to worship trump.
Some day, it would be interesting to know how they fared during Covid-19 as a bit of history - and an examination of the sort of self-destructive fanaticism engineered by trump, Fox and their supporters.
