President Donald Trump retweeted a post on Sunday night that called for National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases Director Dr. Anthony Fauci’s ouster, publicly indicating his displeasure with the doctor.
Nothing says mentally deranged sociopath more than this tweet and Rump’s retweet of it.

I just hate the “banned China” argument Trump and his supporters make, as though he cut off the U.S. from China early on and it made all the difference. It is wildly simplistic and untrue.
40,000 people from China, many of them American, came to numerous cities in the U.S. after Trump’s alleged ban–as though only Chinese people could carry the virus. And what kind of scrutiny did the 40,000 get when they arrived? Temperature checks? Quarantine? Nothing, so far as I can tell.
And by then the virus was also circling the globe. Most of New York’s cases evidently came through Europe.
Touting Trump’s “too little, too late” ban on Chinese nationals coming directly from China is insane.

Trump honestly cannot bear that anyone else be admired, for anything. He cannot bear that someone answer questions according to that person’s own knowledge rather than TrumpTruth. It is not a matter of IF he attacks Fauci, tries to discredit Fauci and/or throws off the constraints that Fauci is trying to impose. It is a matter of when.
Watching that Tapper clip, you can tell Fauci opened with pure White House-approved doubletalk as if he needed to show he understood the instructions … and then his integrity overtook him and he let loose with the truth.
The man is a priceless treasure. If Trump cans him, his influence will only become greater.

When are people like Fauci going to learn, you don’t get anywhere bargaining with Chump? Trying to mollify him, allowing him to bully you. It doesn’t save lives. It doesn’t allow ‘adults’ to help shape him or corral him. Everyone, absolutely EVERYONE becomes his enemy. Even his own kids quite often, but reprieves are given to them eventually.
So what these people do who try to mollify him, is they give him unlimited amounts of time to erode THEIR message and twist it to his own. It gives the whole system time to find ways to blame THEM while Chump runs the cameras and mics and rewrites what HE said and did the whole time. If you don’t make a hard stand, and provide a stark and strong opposition to Chump, he uses that as leeway to act like he is being counseled and weighing options (we’ll take a look at that, we’ll see what happens) but his counselors always end up with a big knife sticking out of their back and a big “I’m to blame” sign pinned on their front.
Give him enough rope, and he will hang himself.
