It hasn’t escaped ex-president Donald Trump’s notice that GOP New Hampshire Senate nominee Don Bolduc is trying to wiggle away from his devout election denialism in his bid to unseat incumbent Sen. Maggie Hassan (D-NH).
Liars gonna lie. “A fighter fights, a writer writes” per Chester Himes… and now we have a slant rhyme, “A liar lies” to join the others.
It’s like the story of the crabs in the pot who keep the escaping crab from getting out. It’s all boiling water down there, and Bolduc is stuck in it for the duration.
Trump endorsed Bolduc on his Twitter knockoff app, Truth Social, at nearly 3 in the morning on Monday, while making sure to drag the Senate hopeful back to the ex-president’s fake narrative about the 2020 election.
Donald acts like the malicious organism in a cautionary fable.
Tfg could be an exemplar of that archetype (like the scorpion in the scorpion and the frog,) but I can’t recall just which one he’d fit to.
“I signed a letter with 120 other generals and admirals saying that Trump won the election, and, damn it, I stand by my letter,” he said at the time.
I keep hearing about this letter, mostly from Bolduc, and I did not know much about it except it is a real thing. So I made the mistake of looking it up and reading it.
I have reached the enviable point of feeling “who cares” regarding Trump and his entire motley crew. This includes his vile oldest offspring. They all should be ignored, especially details about nonsense like this.
We do need to remember what he represents and any coverage of him and his followers should contain warnings about his erratic and dangerous behavior.
Does anyone find it curious how Trump often uses verbs without the objects they would typically have? Bolduc “disavowed,” but he doesn’t say what. We know, of course, but it’s odd, and he does it a lot, like the effort of dragging the verb up from the tar pits of his brain exhausted him too much to go back down and get the object too.
