For once I agree with Trump. Yes, Kavanaugh should sue; that way everyone will find out he’s a liar.

Now, I’m no lawyer, but don’t civil suits involve this thing called “discovery”?
I think the phrase goes, “Discovery is a Bitch.”
Trump is so fuckin stupid AND so fuckin provincial: his only go-to is the ubiquitously-threatened but almost-never-enacted “ya oughtta sue!” frivolous lawsuit.

I am a lawyer, and yes, yes they do. Lots of discovery. Depositions, interrogatories (written questions with responses under oath), document production… All the boys and girls from the good old days testifying under oath… And defamation suits allow you to get into the plaintiff’s character.
Which is why Donnie frequently threatens to sue but rarely actually does so.

The so-called investigation was a sham. Everyone, including Republicans, knew this day was coming. They were banking on the fact that once they foisted him on to the Supreme Court, the only remedy -Impeachment -was going to be basically impossible.
Oh, how I hope Kav the Spaz will take the Stable Genius’ advice.
Truth is a 100% defense to libel.
And discovery would be so much fun.
