Of course Trump is now raising the numbers so he can look Great, Fantastic, Extraordinary when the number of deaths come under; “SEE, I SAVED THEM!” But just yesterday wasn’t he bitching about Dr. Fauci’s warnings about increased infections (deaths) if we opened up businesses and other spaces too soon?

If we compare to Germany, even without the poorer assessment of excess deaths in some US states, we can say that about 40% of US deaths at this point were avoidable with proper testing, aggressive timely lockdowns, tracing and protection of old people. Of course, we’ll not be able to see how shambolic the US response really was without a couple more years perspective.
