After Sen. Mitt Romney (R-UT) tweeted a grave warning about Trump’s phone call with the Ukrainian president — in which Trump reportedly asked the Ukrainian government to conjure up dirt on former Vice President Joe Biden’s son — Trump tweeted out an odd video compilation. The video features footage and news reports on Romney’s loss to President Barack Obama in 2012 juxtaposed alongside footage of Trump’s 2016 win and his inauguration.
One of the first things I thought when I read this was about how vile the person who not only filmed a woman’s high-heel killing some kittens but the persons who posted and reposted.
Trump is no different than the above, actually worse cause he’s the president.
And weirdly, it’ll probably work against Romney and he’ll shut-up. I can’t see this ploy working against virtually any Democrat… See if you can’t find your dignity Mitt.
The Streisand effect is a phenomenon whereby an attempt to hide, remove, or censor a piece of information has the unintended consequence of publicizing the information more widely, usually facilitated by the Internet.[1] It is an example of psychological reactance, wherein once people are aware that some information is being kept from them, their motivation to access and spread it is increased.[2]
He really is a fking two year old. ‘I’ll show YOU Mitt. You say something bad about ME and I’ll release the Kraken!’ How did we ever make it before he ‘took over the United States’?
This is so infantile, it’s hilarious. I’ll put money on a resignation, because obviously his grotesque ego is made of the most frail glass and anything is worth it not to be humiliated.
He uses this argument often, when he has no other, which is almost always. “I’m president, and you’re not.” He values nothing but winning, and only the kind of zero-sum winning where someone else loses.
