The man in charge of a network of government funded news outlets announced late Monday that he was eliminating the so-called “firewall” between journalists and their political management.

Another guy who needs to go immediately if Biden wins. We need to scrub these corrupt Trumpites completely out of the federal govt—they have done so much in a short time to damage all that is good about this government and this country.

Walt is on it. I hope Pack ends up in jail. Knowing he’s a Bannon friend, I’m sure there’s something journalists could dig up that would end with state charges.

Barring something ‘American’, one of the things that I’m going to love about a Biden administration (knock on wood) is Michael Pack claiming persecution.

They need one network to back up the Supreme court power play.

I’m sorry, but the portion of my brain set aside for hating on and worrying about Trump enabled “evil-doers” is already at 115% capacity.

Let’s get back to Scott Atlas, the guy who is actually killing people.

He better hope that a miracle happens, because the DC AG is waiting on him.

He’ll be pounding the streets looking for work soon enough—and the Trump Stink won’t ever wash off, as he will discover.

There’s gonna be a lotta personnel changes that Biden will need to take care of.

I want everybody gone who is there right now. With the sole exception of Dr Fauci.

Michael Pack, the CEO of the U.S. Agency for Global Media (USAGM) — which includes Voice of America (VOA), the Office of Cuba Broadcasting (OCB), Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty (RFE/RL), Radio Free Asia (RFA) and the Middle East Broadcasting Networks (MBN) — said the rule made it too difficult to prohibit “biased reporting” and prevent the reporting of classified information, among other things.

So basically what you’re saying here is Trump Inc doesn’t give a sht about ‘looks’ anymore and is going straight for corruption. Either they know their ‘cheating’ will work at the polls or they’re hoping the Dems don’t have time to correct all the BS they’ve inflicted.

I do not care what he does when he loses. All I care about is his losing.

To be fair, VOA has always been propaganda.
Back in the late 70s, 80s, and 90s, when I was traveling frequently and for long periods in Latin America, I carried a portable shortwave radio. In remote places, there wasn’t much else to do at night. So I listened to what was there: VOA, BBC, ABC, Deutsche Welle, Radio Moscow, Radio Albania, etc.
VOA and Radio Moscow were both pure propaganda and totally unlistenable, because they were obviously propaganda. None of the Latin Americans would listen to those either, because it was obvious to them as well that it was all crap.
So, unless something changed in the last 20 years, I’m not going to get my panties in a twist over this. Yes, fire the guy and try to get VOA back where it was, but that’s a low bar.
American Services Radio was always pretty good, but it was always just rebroadcasting US programs and sports, with no original content.

You want the political appointees gone…Fauci is not a political appointee, he’s a civil servant. It’s important to note that Trump is trying to change things so that he can remove essentially all of the senior staff in the civil service (anyone who “makes policy”) and replace them with Trump minions. It would completely wreck the system if either party could do that…the civil service needs to remain a system where people are employed based on credentials, not politics, and anyone who violates that should be punished or fired.

Every political appointee serves at the pleasure of the president. Normally, they all submit their resignations to the new president; sometimes people are kept around until the next nominee is approved or allowed to continue. Obama did that with a few Bush appointees, Bush did that, and so on. I will bet money that none of Trump’s people submit resignation letters, they will either walk out the door without helping the next administration or try to fight to stay in place (including lawsuits). And, they will try to sabotage Biden as much as they can. Just imagine if the entire government did that…it used to happen, which is why we have the civil service today.

It seems like a REALLY STUPID time to do this…prior to knowing the result of the elections, but really too late to make he true impact ON the election.

This just tips his hand and puts his job on the chopping block shortly after Jan 20th.
