McConnell basically took himself out of this game, and set it up to be between Pelosi and Schumer vs. WH. Largely because a number of republicans actually are backing the Democratic bill…not enough to create a veto proof bill, but enough that McConnell doesn’t have a majority. So instead of taking the humiliation of that defeat, he just took to the sidelines, fully confident that the WH was not going to make any progress.

Here is the deal… It was laid out that certain incomes of which I am in would get another $1200 stimulus check. I need that money. I work with a guy has 5 kids. He needs that money too… That was pretty much telegraphed would happen. Now I don’t care about all this partisan bickering. YES I know what Trump and the GOP are doing here. His executive orders don’t cover that $1200 stimulus check. I want my Fcccking $1200 stimulus check that was telegraphed in a new stimulus bill. So I expect them to get together and hammer out a bill before Nov 3rd.
The Senate GOP sat on their azzes after the HEROES Bill was passed in the House. The fact Trump came out with these lies about Dems begging to talk. Tells me Trump knows he does need to get another deal done on a stimulus bill before the election. But their is another stimulus check on the table that was telegraphed. I thought a deal would be done Aug 7th. But Trump wants to play this executive order BS game.
BTW i was going to use that money to pay off my auto loan and eliminate that monthly payment freeing $261 a month. See this is real money that people need. These wealthy politicians don’t have to worry about chit like trying to pay an auto loan off or having money to pay the monthly bills.

It’s almost inevitable that at some point in the near future that there will be an agreement and Trump will claim, without evidence and logic, that it was his bold action that precipitated the outcome and a lot of people will believe it.
