In MAGAland, it doesn’t matter whether an accusation is true or false, legitimate or not, relevant or absurd. They just want to swallow that steady stream of insults and slander against the scapegoats they’ve been instructed to hate. The result is they are inundated day and night with right wing sewage and it cannot be undone.
It’s mindless because they’re brain-dead cultists. Like all cult members, they have stock answers for any facts you might bring up, or videos you show them disproving their lies. There’s nothing to gain by trying to refute their stupidity; they revel in it.

The Nazis never won a majority in an election - they used manufactured crises to seize power.
That to me is a fundamental difference - enough Germans knew they didn’t want them in power and didn’t vote for them, 50% of Americans are salivating for TCF v2 and cheering the fucking Nazis onwards.

The situation is quite nuanced. Consider in domestic abuse cases, the spouse will often decline to press charges, but under spousal immunity, the victim cannot be forced to testify, so law enforcement is limited in what they can do.
In the Arlington case, the Army could press charges, but to do so would expose the staff member in much the same way as if she pressed charges herself. If there are to be no charges, the Army would be incriminating participants but without due process. And they have no basis for discovering evidence like the alleged video. There’s nothing to prevent some other witness from naming names or providing evidence, but that hasn’t happened yet. The Army can produce the incident report to Congress privately, or redacted, but they clearly don’t want to feed the beast if there are to be no consequences.
