This is self-serving BS. The phone calls were clearly about a quid-pro-quo, dirt on Biden in return for aid. Hell, Trump was counting on them being corrupt enough to manufacture the dirt. The claim that Trump was ¨concerned¨ about Ukrainian corruption is a post-facto attempt at cover-up.
So, Pompeo’s job responsibilities were being outsourced to a private contractor, and he’s OK with it.
