The President continued to downplay the threat posed by the COVID-19 epidemic Tuesday, falsely saying that testing for the disease was available for all who needed it and asserting that the novel coronavirus would “go away” with time.

What’s so frustrating is that the proper message is that we shouldn’t worry because we’re taking this seriously and panic only makes things worse. Instead, the message is that we shouldn’t worry because the only real threat is bad publicity, which is the exact reason we SHOULD panic.
But since Republicans successfully used the Ebola scare to win a midterm election, they can only assume we’re doing the same thing to them.
Time for the 25th amendment…way past time, actually. The rest of the world can’t take much time to look up and see what’s happening in the US, but as they do they must be horrified. It’s so obvious but need’s to be repeated over and over: for him it’s all about - and only about - him.

Saying that does not mean reality will conform to his wishes. He thinks therefore it is well… that is not a strategy. It’s a lazy man’s bullshit.
I am so so tired of the stupidest, most ignorant among us controlling the levers of government, because it’s becoming, more and more, an existential issue for my family and yours.
We can’t do anything on climate change because they ignore the data and scientific consensus. Ditto that for gun safety. But now, they want to pretend a pandemic is just something to sneeze at, if you’ll pardon the pun.
Reiterating that I will support any Democrat up and down the ballot, because this can’t continue.
Trump’s pronouncement is correct. Someday it will go away.
