That summer (2016) was especially painful. Both Conventions…and, in comparing both, the Dem one was disheartening because of the divisions within the Democrats…borne out by some of the speeches trying to be heard above the catcalls.

So, kindly cut the crap and stop defending a bullshit system. There is no equality in the justice system. There is no equal in the eyes of the law. Please charge Trump with all his crimes: (1) the Stormy Daniels hush money bribe; (2) obstruction of Justice, attempted bribery, and witness tampering in the Russia and Ukraine scandals; and (3) the attempted coup, culminating in the January 6 assault.

There are some in Congress who understand this perfectly. “The enemy is in the room”, as Nancy put it. Meaning you have to be very careful and clear about how you get rid of the plague. I’m hoping/trusting this fact is well understood in the minds of herself, Schiff, and others involved in the details of the Jan 6 proceedings.

I didn’t mention the NY investigation because it’s being handled by local authorities. Ditto the Georgia matter. I was focusing on DOJ.
It’s doubtful DOJ is investigating the Stormy Daniels, Russia, and Ukraine matters. I think they are foolish by not looking into all of Trump’s crimes. He needs to be taken out to protect our country and as a cautionary tale for future, and more intelligent, criminals like DeSantis.

It’s good to remember that Trump’s verbal diarrhea does not necessarily equal confession of crimes that will stand up in court.
The legal requirements are not always as clear-cut and simple as we might wish them to be.
TFG will be taken down, but probably not out of his own mouth—unless he lies under oath in a particularly egregious manner.
